[fa icon="plus-square"] Can we bring a guest?

Absolutely! Achieving Axiom Circle of Excellence is not easy feat. It requires many long hours, and this incentive trip is as much about celebrating the people who support you in your pursuits, as it is about celebrating your accomplishments.

  • Axiom has some guidelines in place regarding guest attendance:
    • Guests must be 18 years or older. No one under the age of 18 is allowed onsite during Axiom Circle of Excellence dates.
    • Attendees may extend the trip with children under the age of 18 before or after the incentive trip at their own cost.
    • Guest should be non-Axiom employees. Exceptions can be granted following approval and discussion with Territory leads, CCO, SVP of Sales Operations and PAX.
    • Though rooms are double occupancy, two queen beds cannot be guaranteed.  Please notify the Axiom Circle of Excellence team prior to March 1, 2025 with any requests for a room with two queen beds.  Understand this accommodation may  be dependent upon room availability.
[fa icon="plus-square"] When must we RSVP by?

All qualifiers will be notified through email with a link to registration.  All registrations must be received by February 13th!  Please make sure your RSVP is on time to secure your spot in the May trip.

[fa icon="plus-square"] What are my flight details?

All flights are required to be booked through Executive Group Travel.  Upon completing the registration, a representative from EGT will be in contact within 72 hours with several flight options and once selected, will be booked for you and your guest. We ask that you please do not book a flight on your own.

Executive Group Travel will manage the budget for each attendees flight.  Any flights that go over budget, you will be held responsible for the difference and can cover that through Executive Group Travel.

Please note that those attendees from North America and JAPAC region, you have been approved to arrive on May 5th due to the length of travel. All attendees coming from EMEA locations, you are approved to arrive on May 6th.

You will be responsible to cover any flight changes after booking unless it is work related.

You will be flying into the Istanbul Airport (IST).

[fa icon="plus-square"] Can I come early or extend my trip?

We have a limited amount of pre/post extensions.

Please email Info@ExecutiveGroupTravel.com for extension requests at the discounted group rate.

Once Executive Group Travel confirms your extension, you have 72 hours to cancel those nights. After 72 hours, any cancelled rooms will be your financial responsibility to cover any cost associated with the cancellation.

[fa icon="plus-square"] What should I pack?

This is a casual trip.

For the evenings events including the Awards dinner we recommend packing business casual clothing. A reminder to bring a pair of comfortable sneakers to explore Istanbul!

The average temperatures in Istanbul in May is 71 degrees.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Do I need a passport and/or Visa?

A passport is required for visitors entering Turkey. Each passport MUST be valid for 6 months after your departure date from Istanbul. A visa is also required to enter Turkey. U.S. passport holders may apply for an e-visa for Turkey at www.evisa.gov.tr for tourism or short-term business travel.

We are able to assist in providing any documentation required for the visa, such as proof of stay, etc.

Please note that you are responsible to understand the travel requirements to travel to and from your home country. *This is NOT the responsibility of Executive Group Travel.*

[fa icon="plus-square"] What type of adapter will I need for my electronics?

The type of plugs and sockets found in Turkey are Type C or Type F so you will need an adaptor or travel plug to plug your appliances and devices into the wall socket if your country uses a different plug type.

For reference, the UK uses Type G while North America uses Type A and/or Type B.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Axiom's Covid Guidance
 Axiom's Covid Guidance:

Axiom encourages vaccination and requires all employees to be vaccinated to attend an office, Axiom event or client site, unless they have been granted a religious or medical exemption to this policy.
    • Please ensure you have logged your vaccination status on workday and completed an exemption request as needed.
    • Exemption forms can be requested from me and requests are reviewed by PAX and Legal leadership who undertake a risk assessment as part of the review, to ensure we manage any potential risk to the health and safety of our team. If following this review, exemptions are approved, a daily testing protocol is put in place with the individual in advance of attending the event.
For those team members travelling from overseas:
    • Non-US citizens must have completed their primary vaccination dose (1 of 1 dose vaccines, or 2 of 2 dose vaccines) for approved entry into the US (further detail can be found here) and no quarantine is required.
    • Please follow your own country specific laws regarding your re-entry to your home country following Club.
If you are feeling unwell or displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 in advance of travel please inform your Manager and do not travel.

If you begin to feel unwell or display symptoms of COVID-19 while at Club please inform your Manager and me.

    • You will be required to follow CDC guidance which is to isolate until you receive a Covid test result.
    • If you test positive, you should inform me and your manager and follow CDC guidance to isolate for at least 5 days.
      • PAX will be in touch with you to determine any close contacts, and will take next steps to inform anyone exposed to take CDC precautions (wearing a mask, watching for symptoms, test on day 6 following exposure)
    • If you test negative, you no longer have to isolate.

The health and safety of all Axiomites remains a priority through these unusual times and we are trying to operate with the upmost care for you at all times. You are of course welcome to wear masks throughout the kick-off sessions and we recommend you follow best practice regarding hand washing hygiene etc.

We rely on you using your best judgment and if you have a specific question please reach out for guidance.
